Burnt your pan?

No one wants to scorch a pan in the oven and then have to go through a long process of scrubbing away burn stains. (Most of us are too busy or lazy for that, anyway).

The good news is that you may not have to! Instead, put a dishwasher tablet or washing powder with water in the pan, bring it to the boil, simmer, and most of the burnt stuff will eventually lift off.
