Please read these terms carefully before using our services
1. Services
Nice Clean Home Limited provides a domestic cleaning management service in Chester and surrounding areas. We match you with a vetted, reliable cleaner and manage the arrangement on your behalf. Our services include weekly cleaning, fortnightly cleaning, and deep cleaning.
Deep cleans are only available as part of an ongoing regular cleaning arrangement. We don't offer standalone one-off deep cleans.
The specific tasks to be carried out during each visit will be agreed before services begin. We reserve the right to decline any requests that fall outside standard domestic cleaning.
2. Contract Terms
All new arrangements begin with an initial 3-month contract. This gives you and your cleaner time to settle into a proper routine and ensures a good fit for both sides.
After the initial 3-month period, your contract automatically moves to a rolling one-month basis. You can cancel at any time after that with one month's notice.
3. Pricing and Payment
Our current pricing is as follows:
- Weekly cleaning: From £19 per hour (minimum 2 hours per visit)
- Fortnightly cleaning: From £20 per hour (minimum 2 hours per visit)
- Deep cleaning: Individually priced based on requirements
There are two parts to how you pay:
- Management fee: Paid monthly in advance by standing order to Nice Clean Home Limited
- Cleaner's fee: Paid directly to your cleaner on the same day as each clean
We'll explain exactly how payment works and set everything up with you when your service begins.
4. Cancellations and Missed Cleans
If you need to cancel or reschedule a cleaning appointment:
- Please give at least 24 hours' notice for no charge
- Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged at 50% of the agreed rate
- No-shows without any notice will be charged at the full agreed rate
Contact us by phone or email as soon as possible if you need to make changes.
5. Access to Your Property
You'll need to provide access to your property for each scheduled clean. This could mean being home to let your cleaner in, leaving a key with us (held securely), or providing access via a key safe.
If our cleaner arrives and can't get in, this will be treated as a no-show and charged accordingly.
6. Cleaning Products and Equipment
We ask that you provide the cleaning products and equipment for use in your home. That way, you know exactly what's being used and can stick to products you're comfortable with. If you'd prefer us to arrange supplies, let us know and we'll sort that out.
7. Insurance
Nice Clean Home Limited carries public liability insurance. In the unlikely event of accidental damage during a clean, please let us know within 24 hours. Claims will be handled through our insurance provider.
We're not liable for damage to items that are fragile, unstable, or improperly secured. Please let your cleaner know about anything that needs special care.
8. Complaints
If you're not happy with any aspect of the service, contact us within 24 hours of the clean. We'll arrange for a cleaner to come back and put it right at no extra cost. We take all feedback seriously and use it to improve.
9. Ending Your Service
During the initial 3-month period, the contract runs for its full term. After that, either party can end the arrangement with one month's written notice. Any outstanding payments remain due regardless of termination.
10. Confidentiality
We respect your privacy. Our cleaners are expected to keep everything about your home and personal affairs confidential. We won't share your personal information with anyone unless required to by law.
11. Health and Safety
Our cleaners follow standard health and safety practices. Please tell us about any hazards in your home, including pets, alarm systems, or rooms that shouldn't be accessed. We reserve the right to decline to clean in conditions we consider unsafe.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If anything significant changes, we'll let existing clients know. Continuing to use our services after a change means you accept the updated terms.
